Day 1: Touchdown & Tap In (Tue 4/21)
Welcome to Ghana. The tribe is touching down, the energy is already high, and the Gudlyfe starts the second your feet hit the ground. After checking in at Number One Oxford Street Hotel, we kick things off at 2pm with our Meet and Greet Luncheon at Ritual Cafe and Listening Bar, so everyone can vibe, connect, and ease into the trip. The rest of the afternoon is for pure relaxation after those long flights, so enjoy your luxury suite and settle in. If you feel like stepping out to get a taste of the Ghana streets, go for it, but make sure you’re back in time to meet in the hotel lobby for dinner at Indulge Restaurant. Day One is simple. Arrive, unwind, and tap into the Gudlyfe experience.
Day 2: Waterfalls & Wonders (Wed 4/22)
Wake up, grab breakfast, and get ready for a nature day that hits every level. From the refreshing power of Boti Falls to the views at Umbrella Rock to the peaceful beauty of Aburi Gardens, this day is nonstop scenery. We also visit the legendary Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm, the birthplace of Ghana’s cocoa legacy. Lunch will be handled by our tour guide. We close the evening with dinner at Treehouse Restaurant. This day is pure adventure and pure vibes.
Day 3: Accra Culture Day (Thur 4/23)
This is the day you feel Accra in your spirit. After breakfast, we dive into the history, culture, and heartbeat of the city. We explore museums, local markets, national landmarks, and the stories woven into Ghana’s past and present. From Makola Market to Independence Square to the W.E.B. DuBois Center, expect a full day of knowledge, art, and authentic connection. Lunch will be handled by our tour guide. Dinner ends the evening at Bella Afrique. A full cultural reset.
Day 4: Walk With Our Ancestors (Fri 4/24)
This day is sacred. After breakfast, we start at Kakum National Park for a peaceful nature walk, but the real heartbeat of today lies at Elmina Castle and Cape Coast Castle. You will stand in spaces where our ancestors suffered, fought, prayed, and survived. You will walk through the dungeons, hear the stories, and feel the truth. This is emotional. This is powerful. This is necessary. Lunch is guided by the tour team and we close the night with dinner at Cloud 9. For those who need a release after such a heavy experience, the optional nightlife outing is available. This day is unforgettable and deeply grounding.
Day 5: Landmarks & Shopping (Sat 4/25)
Breakfast fuels the day, then we hit Accra’s iconic landmarks with confidence. From Osu Castle to the Ghana National Mosque to the Golden Jubilee or Flagstaff House, the views and history keep coming. Then we switch it up with some shopping therapy at Accra Mall. This day is culture, style, and a little treat yourself moment. Guests may also participate in an authentic naming ceremony for an additional cost. Dinner at Buka brings the flavors of Ghana straight to your plate.
Day 6: Spa Glow & Beach Flow (Sun 4/26)
It is giving relaxation, healing, and full rejuvenation. After breakfast, enjoy a complete spa day at No. 1 Oxford Street Hotel with a complimentary massage because the Gudlyfe always includes self care. Then we head to Labadi Beach for sun kissed vibes, ocean breeze, and laid back energy. Lunch is served at Afrikana Beach House and dinner later takes place at the Accra Marriott Hotel. This is your recharge day to bring your body and spirit back to center.
Day 7: Freestyle & Farewell (Mon 4/27)
Today is your day to do whatever your soul wants. Explore the city, shop, rest, try new food, or create your own personal Accra moment. Lunch is not included so you have full freedom to roam. In the evening, we dress up and elevate the energy for our Farewell Dinner at Sky Bar. Stunning views, good food, deeper bonds, and a final toast to an unforgettable Gudlyfe Getaway.
Day 8: Bye Ghana, Hi Memories (Tue 4/28)
We enjoy one last breakfast together at the hotel, then it is time to check out and head to the airport for departure. Expect hugs, laughs, maybe a few tears, and a camera roll full of memories. You are leaving Ghana, but you are not leaving the Gudlyfe. You are going home with new friends, new stories, a deeper connection to the culture, and a renewed version of yourself.
Day 9: Back In 1 Piece Check In (Tue 4/29)
You should be home. This final day is all about closing the trip out with ensuring everyone made it back safely. Once you’re home, check in with us to let the tribe know you made it back in one piece. Share your photos, your videos, your favorite moments, and your funniest memories in the group chat, so we can all relive & celebrate the beautiful moments we created in Ghana as a Gudlyfe family.
